Text/SMS alerts for Investing Club can be activated by following the steps below:
1. Go to cnbc.com/account/#notifications and log in with your Investing Club account info.
2. Enter a valid U.S. or Canada mobile number and agree to the terms and conditions as shown below:
3. After clicking SUBMIT, you will see a confirmation that you have registered your phone number:
4. As a final step, you will receive an SMS alert on your mobile device, and you will need to follow the prompt to confirm enrollment, as shown below:
Please note:
- SMS alerts are only available for U.S. and Canada Investing Club members at this time.
- SMS alerts cannot be customized; you will not be able to select the types of Investing Club notifications you would like to receive.
- You can opt out of SMS at any time by texting STOP or by following the steps above to log into your Notification settings and clicking "Opt Out."
